Man injured in Annandale shooting, police investigating

According to a tweet from Fairfax County Police, the shooting happened in the 7700 block of Suraci Court

ANNANDALE, Va. — Police are investigating after a person was injured in a shooting Friday.

According to a tweet from Fairfax County Police, the shooting happened in the 7700 block of Suraci Court. 

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. That man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

Police say the suspect ran away after the shooting. He is described as a Black man wearing a white shirt and checkered shorts.

Officers ask that people avoid the area and call 911 if they have any information. 

The identity of the man injured has not been released.
