Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated celebrates 100 years

The international sorority partnered with Martha's Table to give back to the community.

WASHINGTON — The women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are celebrating 100 years of scholarship, service, sisterly love, and finer womanhood. 

Thousands are in D.C. for the celebrations. 

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. partnered with Martha's Table to collect and dispense more than 13,000 bundles of warmth, bags with gloves, blankets, and hats) to those in need.

Zeta Phi Beta was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 16, 1920. 

The sorority has finally moved toward its centennial and they continue to aim for excellence.
