KETTERING, Md. — Police have identified the victim in a fatal shooting that happened early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Kylie Place around 12:30 a.m. Sunday for the report of a shooting.
Police arrived to find the victim, 22-year-old Marcelle Preston, outside a home suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities say Preston was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officials have not yet released a motive or suspect information in this shooting, but do not believe it was a random crime.
