Who are the worst drivers during snow and rain? Study says DC, Maryland, Virginia make top rankings

According to a report from Allstate, DC, Maryland and Virginia drivers rank among the worst during the rain and the snow.

WASHINGTON — If you live in D.C., Maryland or Virginia, we know you've heard DMV drivers can't drive when there's a little bit of precipitation. 

Well, it may actually be true - at least according to a recent study from the Allstate America's Best Drivers Report.

The 2018 report identifies which of the 200 largest U.S. cities and their surrounding suburban metropolitan areas have the safest drivers. 

Of those 200 cities, Baltimore, Maryland ranked the worst, the District ranked the third worst and Alexandria, Virginia is the eighth worst. 

Do better, DMV.
