On April 13, a sexually explicit incident involving the JV Lacrosse team was caught on camera, sparking a criminal investigation.

The video shows a screaming boy being held to the ground by teammates while at least two others appear to expose themselves and force apparently inappropriate contact to the victim's head.

On May 22, the state’s attorney filed juvenile referrals with the Department of Juvenile Services for the five players who were the alleged perpetrators. Each referral was for false imprisonment and second-degree assault.
