Capitals fan undergoing cancer treatment rocks the red in hospital room

The long time Caps' fan had chemotherapy the week before those games and radiation the week after, so the only time her doctors would allow her to travel was in that window.

Washington DC — Amanda Wilson loves her Capitals. She watched Monday night's game from a hospital room at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

She texted, "the entire team put everything they had into that game. They left nothing behind."

We introduced you to the mother of two last week. She was able to travel from MN to D.C. to catch games three and four of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The long time Caps fan had chemotherapy the week before those games, and radiation the week after.

The only time her doctors would allow her to travel was in that window.

She saw two losses, but remained optimistic.

She says if the team plays, "with the same intensity as last game... they will be advancing to the finals."
